Description

Our A1011 hot rolled pickled and oiled (P&O) steel caster base plates are fabricated in-house using our precision lasers to ensure consistency and accuracy and are available in an array of thicknesses, sizes and precut hole diameters. Characterized by a smooth, blue-grey finish, this material has gone through a “pickling” process, meaning the plates have been dipped into acid in order to remove mill scale from its surface. Once the pickling process is complete, a light rust preventative is applied to slow down the corrosion of the material making them paint or powder coat ready. A1011 is considered a commercial quality alloy material; common applications include mounting of equipment or structural lateral load support.
