As a Laser Operator at Coremark Metals, you will play a vital role in our fabrication process, utilizing advanced laser technology to cut metal components. This position is essential in ensuring that we meet the high standards expected by our customers while contributing to innovative projects across various industries.

Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operation of the laser to create custom orders with precision and efficiency
• Manage work orders to ensure the accuracy of production and timeliness of delivery
• Review customer purchase orders and specifications to determine requirements
• Follow company protocol relating to the operation of assigned machinery and/or equipment and quality control practices
• Complete visual and dimensional inspections to verify parts are in compliance with specifications
• Perform required routine and minor maintenance of machinery
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Coordinate and cooperate with other departments to help facilitate communications and operations within the company

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard and computer
• Ability to multi-task, be attentive, and flexible
• Strong understanding of measuring devices such as calipers, tape measures, and scales
• Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and up to 75lbs occasionally
• Ability to interact with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner
• Ability to maneuver and manipulate metal materials by bending, twisting, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, and use of upper and lower extremities and back

Required Qualifications:

• Aptitude in industrial machinery and equipment
• 1+ Year(s) of laser experience

• Forklift experience
