12ga Pickled & Oiled Formed Channels
Description
A1011 hot rolled pickled and oiled (P&O) steel formed channel is an excellent candidate for most processing techniques. Fabricated in-house using our precision forming process to ensure consistent bend accuracy, these channels are formed from 12ga. (0.1046”) material. Characterized by a smooth, blue-grey finish, the hot rolled steel material has undergone a “pickling” process, meaning it has been dipped into acid to remove the mill scale from its surface. Once the pickling process is complete a light rust preventative is applied to slow down the corrosion of the material, making the channels paint or powder coat ready. A1011 is considered a commercial quality alloy material; common applications include structural support, trailers, railing, fencing and other architectural uses.
